Oditi Patgiri
Oditi Patgiri is a second-year Global Affairs student at O.P. Jindal Global University, with a minor in Environmental Sciences. Driven by a strong passion for environmental advocacy and sustainable practices, her academic and extracurricular pursuits focus on understanding national and international policy frameworks and their impact on local awareness of sustainability.
Oditi actively engages in environmental research, exploring various aspects of sustainability and conservation. Her dedication extends beyond academics to community involvement, where she has participated in regional student-led environmental organizations. Through these groups, she has contributed to cleanup drives, facilitated discussions, and utilized social media to promote practical, eco-friendly practices that individuals can adopt to create a positive environmental impact.
Currently, Oditi serves as the Research Head for the Hargila Desk, a student-run periodical focused on community conservation. The periodical amplifies youth voices by encouraging college students and individuals from diverse backgrounds to write and engage in discussions on pressing environmental issues. Through her work with Hargila Desk, Oditi continues to inspire awareness and action, fostering a collective effort towards sustainable living and environmental stewardship.
