Ferdausi Choudhury holds a Master’s degree in Ecology and Environmental Science and is dedicated to fostering environmental awareness among youth. As an active member of the Hargila Army, led by Dr. Purnima Devi Barman, she plays a key role in promoting conservation initiatives, engaging young people in environmental activities, and inspiring personal action for the protection of nature. Ferdausi has been actively involved in Assam’s Hargila conservation movement, conducting field surveys and organizing community programs aimed at strengthening local engagement in conservation efforts. Her work focuses on empowering communities and the next generation to contribute meaningfully to environmental protection and sustainability.
