Nils Becker
Lawyer
Nils Becker is a lawyer and advisor with a background in journalism and corporate strategy. He studied law at the University of Bonn after working as a writer for various newspapers, later advising major corporations on digital projects and leading online initiatives. In 2004, he returned to self-employment by founding his own law firm, with a focus on animal-related legal issues. His main areas of focus are animal and nature conservation law, IT and data protection law, and advising non-profit associations and organisations. Since 2021, he has been a partner and lecturer at the Animal Rights Academy in Bielefeld, where he trains staff from veterinary and public order authorities. Nils lives with his partner Stefanie on the Retscheider Hof wildlife station in the Siebengebirge near Bonn.
